Financial Strategy and Leadership
- Create and execute financial strategies aligned with company goals to increase shareholder value.
- Advise the Executive Chairman and senior leadership on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements, management reports, and strategic financial analyses.
- Monitor key financial metrics and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
Financial Control and Management Reporting
- Manage daily accounting and financial reporting activities.
- Supervise all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable (A/R), accounts payable (A/P), and revenue recognition.
- Prepare consolidated financial reports, budget tracking reports, management presentations, and weekly performance updates with actionable insights.
- Oversee regional outsourced finance providers to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely financial statements.
- Continuously improve the month-end close process for greater speed and efficiency.
Cash Flow Management
- Oversee the Group's cash flow, financing plans, and arrangements.
- Maintain rolling 6-month cash flow forecasts.
- Manage the monthly funding process to ensure adequate cash flow while minimizing idle funds.
Internal Controls and Systems
- Implement and manage a new accounting/ERP system to enhance financial reporting and forecasting.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
- Identify and apply best practices across regions.
- Collaborate with management to review and refine internal controls and processes.
Compliance and Tax
- Ensure compliance with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements across all operating markets.
- Optimize tax strategies, including effective utilization of tax losses and appropriate management fee recharges.
- Coordinate internal and external audit requirements, ensuring timely and accurate submissions with group and regional auditors.
- Review local and consolidated financial statements under IFRS.
